Anil Kapoor, Sonam to work together

Vidhu Vinod Chopra brings together Anil Kapoor and his daughter Sonam Kapoor for the first time in Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga. Apparently, Vidhu’s sister Shelly Chopra will direct the father-daughter pair in the film, whose title is taken from Vinod’s iconic song from 1942: A Love Story. 

Although Anil and Sonam will be sharing screen space together for the first time, a source close to the proposed project reveals that Anil and Sonam won’t be playing father and daughter in the film. The source reveals, “The film won’t feature Anil and Sonam as father and daughter — it’s way too predictable. It would be so much more exciting to cast them in roles different from their real-life ones, just like Bachchan saab and Abhishek in Bunty Aur Babli.”
