When Salman Khan took a dig at Ranbir Kapoor

Ranbir Kapoor had burst onto the Bollywood scene with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Saawariya, which also saw Salman Khan playing an important part. However, there have always been reports of the two actors not getting along well with each other.

While Katrina Kaif is often touted to be the reason for the strain — since Salman dated her before Ranbir did — there were reports that Sallu had allegedly slapped Ranbir in public, even before the latter made his debut.

And it definitely seems that not much has changed since then. Known for his witty one-liners, Salman took a dig at Ranbir on Bigg Boss, when Alia Bhatt made an appearance on the show. While performing a task on the show, Alia was made to choose between Ranbir and Ranveer Singh. Salman quipped then, “Ranveer ko hi gayab kar do, Ranbir toh waise hi gayab ho rahe hain! (Make Ranveer disappear from the task, Ranbir is disappearing as it is!)”

Salman was perhaps referring to the string on unsuccessful films Ranbir featured in before Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Alia, who is to share screen space with Ranbir in Dragon merely giggled.
