Bhushan is looking for bigger names for the Gulshan Kumar biopic, after Akshay backed out.
The head honcho of T-Series, Bhushan Kumar, who is making the most ambitious film of his life, is keeping mum till a big star signs on the dotted line for it.
The film on his late father, the slain music mogul Gulshan Kumar, called Mogul is surely not happening with Akshay Kumar. Bhushan is now reportedly awaiting a Khan’s nod for the film.
“My father’s biopic is very close to me. That is the biggest announcement we have made in our lives and we will make a confirmation on an actor soon. It could be bigger than Akshay Kumar,” he asserts.
There were rumours of Aamir Khan and then Salman Khan essaying the said role. Akshay, who was initially going to be part of the project, has returned the signing amount.
“Bhushan had asked Aamir to produce the film along with him and possibly get Salman to play the lead. Bhushan has built a great rapport with Salman over the past many years and they are waiting for the formalities to be completed,” says a source.
