Race 3 song Selfish: When Salman Khan’s thoughts turned him a songwriter

Actor Salman Khan had turned a singer for Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty’s ‘Hero’. But the actor has gone many steps ahead for his upcoming Eid release ‘Race 3’.

Salman has produced the film, sung in the film, turned a song writer and even distributor for ‘Race 3’.

But did you know that Salman didn’t really think about turning a songwriter for ‘Race 3’s ‘Selfish’ and it happened co-incidentally?

Salman said in a statement, “While discussing the creative for the song, I penned down a few thoughts on paper in sync with the plot of the film, which is about the selfishness within the family. When the music director Vishal Mishra heard it, he got extremely excited and said he will come back with a tune for the same. I said, ‘But this is a part of a conversation and not lyrics’. However, he insisted to use the thoughts as it is for the song. Everyone loved the thoughts and wanted it to be used for the song.”

The teaser of ‘Selfish’ is out now and the song, where Jacqueline will be seen romancing both Salman and Bobby Deol, will be out tomorrow.
