Though very protective and supportive of her sister Nupur, the actress believes that she should make her own path in the industry.

Kriti Sanon  has a pretty looking sister Nupur Sanon who also seems to be interested in becoming an actress. However, this doting and protective sister believes that Nupur should have her own journey rather than she recommending her name to producers and directors. Kriti says, “She wants to make it on her own. When I look back, I am proud of my journey, and I am glad that she wants to do it her way.”

She adds, “There is nothing that she has been offered as yet. Right now, she is exploring things. She likes singing, and she is also learning acting. She is actually taking workshops of all kinds. I have advised her to take up whatever she wants to. Nupur should follow her heart.”

Kriti, who is currently enjoying the success of Bareilly Ki Barfi, reveals that she was often told that she wouldn’t get a lot of projects in Bollywood because of her looks. She says, “I was told that you need to have some sort of flaw. There has to be something off about you to be a heroine, only then will you be relatable. I think sometimes it becomes difficult for certain people to see you in a role where they don’t want a good-looking face.”

She adds, “Sometimes people don’t want actors who look good to play the role of a common girl since it is difficult for them to imagine it like that. Having said that, I think it is the make-up artist who has to work on it. Alia did Udta Punjab. Anyone can transform a beautiful girl into different characters. You just need to believe as an actor.”
