Watch: Akshay still in 'toilet' mode as he shoots video for 'brother' Sidharth

Mumbai: The film industry, known to be extremely competitive, has displayed an interesting trend of late, when stars share videos, tweets or pictures to promote each other's films.

Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Karan Johar, Sidharth Malhotra took efforts to shoot funny videos for Akshay Kumar’s ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ which released recently. All the efforts played a small yet significant part as the film turned out to be a success at the box office.

The superstar would obviously want to repay favours and with Sidharth’s film ‘A Gentleman’ up for release this Friday, shot for a funny video to promote the film.

Sidharth and Akshay had shot for a 'Shopkeeper-Chutki' series of jokes revolving toilets and latter still seems to be in ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ mode as he chose the location to shoot the video.

He, however, clarifies that he was not promoting the film any further, but rather promoting his ‘Brothers’ co-star Sidharth’s film while entering the toilet for ‘gentlemen’.

However, a transgender comes out of the toilet at the same time, and tells the superstar to ‘be a genleman’ and ‘give side’.

Akshay seems all shocked with the whole incident , and just says 'ye log bhi’ (even these people) before entering the toilet.
