The actor has a lot of screen time in the film — even more than he did in Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale.

There is endless speculation about the extent of  Shah Rukh Khan’s role in the eagerly awaited Dear Zindagi. Well, let’s put all that speculation to rest. Shah Rukh is the leading man of the film — there’s no doubt. The film is two hours and 29 minutes long and Shah Rukh makes his entry 20 minutes before the interval. In that sense, there is more of SRK in Dear Zindagi than there was in Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale. It also beats the length of Aamir Khan’s role in Taare Zameen Par.

Once he makes an entry on screen, he is there in almost every frame. As for Alia Bhatt, Dear Zindagi will take her performance to the next level. According to those known to the director, Gauri has brought out facets of Shah Rukh’s personality that were never seen before.
