Shraddha Kapoor condemns attacks on Deepika Padukone

The actress also went on to speak a little about her fashion sense and said she doesn't take the pressure of being photographed in an airport look.

Shraddha Kapoor recently attended an event in Mumbai, where she expressed her disappointment at Deepika Padukone receiving threats for her upcoming Padmavati.

As Deepika has been threatened with physical harm not just by fringe elements but also members of political parties, Shraddha calls the issue saddening.

“I think it’s very unfortunate,” Shraddha sighed. “It’s saddening what’s happening. Very unfortunate, is what I have to say.”

The actress also went on to speak a little about her fashion sense and said she doesn’t take the pressure of being photographed in an airport look. Adding that she pays little heed to what trolls have to say, she smiles, “I don’t care about that (trolls). I wear what I feel like wearing. There are days where I’ve simply rolled out of bed and head out. And I’m totally okay with it. As long as I feel myself, I’m okay.”

She continued, “There are days where I definitely get help from my stylist, but there are also days when I don’t. So, either way, I’m happy with my ‘airport looks’. I want to be comfortable and stay true to who I am. I’m a complete track pants and sneakers girl.”
