Fanney Khan teaser: Rajkummar tells a story of dreamer Anil and dreamy Aishwarya

Mumbai: After intriguing the audience with the first poster, the makers have released the teaser of upcoming musical drama 'Fanney Khan'. Produced by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, the film stars talented trio of Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rajkummar Rao. Interestingly, this film marks the reunion of Anil and Aishwarya after a long gap of 19 years. The duo was last seen in Subhash Ghai's 'Taal', which released in 1999.

The teaser indicates the dreams of a common man (Anil Kapoor) as he balances his livelihood, playing the trumpet under a starry sky. Aishwarya and Rajkummar are looking lively dancing on the tunes of spirited life.

Anil Kapoor took to his official Twitter account to unveil the film's teaser. He wrote, "Jo khud apni kahani likhe woh hi hai #FanneyKhan..."

Fanney Khan is an official remake of Belgian film, Everybody's Famous!. The movie was nominated for Academy Award for the Best Foreign Language Film in 73rd Academy Award in 2001.

Directed by debutant Atul Manjrekar, 'Fanney Khan' is slated to hit the screens on August 3 this year.
