Simmba: Ranveer, Sara reliving Ladka Aankh Maare is perfect and super exciting!

‘Ladka Aankh Maare’ was one of the songs every 90s kid heard while growing up. It was a fun song which gave us a major glimpse of Arshard Warsi’s dancing skills.

Now even kids of 2010 will get to hear the song yet again, as Mumbai Mirror reports that the track is being remade for Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan starrer ‘Simmba’.

Honestly speaking, the song looks like it was made for the cast. Ranveer Singh’s on and off-screen personality is just as fun, crazy and energetic as Arshad Warsi in the song. Not only that, Sara Ali Khan too could well replace Simran as she too has a lot of nautanki keeda in her, which was evident in her ‘Saat Samundar’ dance at a wedding.

A source told Mumbai Mirror, “The song has been recreated by Tanishk Bagchi who has been working on the new version since the past few months. It has new beats to appeal to the Gen X but the fun element is intact, which was Rohit (Shetty, director and producer)’s brief.”

“In Simmba, Ranveer and Sara’s characters will be seen teasing and flirting with each other,” adds the source.
