Arranged Marriage modelled after Bombay Talkies

Filmmaker Pradeep Sarkar has decided to direct a short film called Arranged Marriage, which will be incorporated with three other short stories. The other well-known director to join this project is Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury.

A source close to the project reveals, “Four well-known directors are coming together to tell four different tales. Apart from Pradeep Sarkar, even Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury is onboard for this project. He is yet to lock his star cast.”

Aniruddha, who is known for his successful film Pink, is busy searching for the right cast to tell his story. As far as Pradeep’s Arranged Marriage is concerned, the film is a modern-day love story. It features Ali Fazal and Patralekhaa in lead roles.

This project is on the lines of Bombay Talkies, with four directors known for their hardcore, content-driven films coming together.
