Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma Mumbai Reception: Couple arrive at the hotel, see pics

Mumbai: Newlyweds Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, on Tuesday afternoon, arrived at the St. Regis in Lower Parel for their Mumbai wedding reception. Anushka and Virat had tied the knot in a ceremony for family and friends in Italy on 11 December. The couple had their first wedding reception in New Delhi on 21 December. Prime Minister of the country Narendra Modi attended the party, and gave his blessings to the couple.

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma will throw an extravagant wedding reception in Mumbai today. The reception will be held in the Astor Ballroom, St Regis in Lower Parel, Mumbai. Interestingly, this is also where Zaheer Khan and Sagarika Ghatge hosted their wedding reception.

Bollywood bigwigs Amitabh Bachchan, Ranveer Singh, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Rani Mukerji, Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor among several others, are expected to attend this grand reception tonight.

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli tied the knot in a private ceremony in Italy on December 11, 2017. The couple got married in a luxurious resort and had invited close friends and family.

Anushka and Virat had made a formal announcement on their social media accounts by posting, “Today we have promised each other to be bound in love forever. We are truly blessed to share the news with you. This beautiful day will be made more special with the love and support of our family of fans &well wishers. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey.”

After the second reception in Mumbai today, the couple will travel to South Africa where Virat Kohli will start prepping for the upcoming series.

Anushka and Virat will bring about the New Year together before the Bollywood actress returns to India in the first week of January 2018 to begin the next shooting schedule of Anand L Rai’s film with Shah Rukh Khan in Mumbai.
