So, is she or isn’t she?  Priyanka Chopra, who had bragged a while ago about being ‘friends’ with Meghan Markle, is being strangely coy on the matter of attending the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan in England next month. We are wondering why the mystery.

On The Tonight Show with popular American host Jimmy Fallon (Priyanka has been on the show for the fourth time in two years. Jimmy seems oblivious to other Indian talent in the US), the actress again played the mystery card over her attendance/non-attendance at the wedding of the year. When Jimmy asked her about it, she dodged the question saying she was being ‘scammed’ into talking about it to the media. The question is a natural one considering how she herself had gushed, once again on a Jimmy Fallon show, about her jigri dosti with Meghan. She had famously said, “Forget attending (the wedding) or not, I’m very happy for my friend.”

She then revealed that she had met Meghan at a dinner hosted by Elle magazine. “Meghan and I got along very well,” she had said. Time for some straight answers to straight questions, Priyanka.
