Sania Mirza’s tongue-in-cheek response

Sania Mirza gave a fitting reply recently to journalist Rajdeep Sardesai’s congratulatory tweet

Pakistani cricket star Shoaib Malik and Indian tennis star Sania Mirza, who have been married for eight years, are all set to become parents as they are expecting their first child in October this year. The 31-year-old Indian tennis superstar tweeted a picture recently, to suggest that she is pregnant.

Soon after the announcement, wishes started to pour in on Twitter for the couple, including one from veteran journalist Rajdeep Sardesai, who congratulated Sania on ‘settling down’. In an apparent reference to an old interview with the Hyderabadi, Sardesai tweeted, “Congratulations on ‘settling down’!! god bless the family!! (sic).”

Sania, in turn, gave a very cheeky response to his tweet and wrote, “Well thank you Rajdeep...still not ‘settling’ now though... have been settled for a while,” adding emojis of a laugh and a wink to her reply.
