Did Parineeti Chopra hint at Priyanka’s rumoured boyfriend Nick Jonas being ‘family’?

Mumbai: It seems almost impossible to believe that Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, who were spotted hanging out since only few days ago, are reportedly set to get engaged soon and before we realise might get married too.

But Priyanka’s close ones are playing their cards close to their chests about the couple.

Her mother Madhu Chopra had said she was 'just at dinner where Nick was also there' and that it was too early for her to form an opinion of him in the first meeting.

Her statement was contrary to reports that had surfaced earlier that she spent a good ‘one to two hours’ talking with him.

And her cousin sister Parineeti Chopra, who met the international artiste on two separate occasions, is following suit.

After meeting the couple at Priyanka’s residence for a gathering, the actress also joined them for their Goa getaway a day later, where their ‘rain dance’ and lunch picture had gone viral.

When asked about it in an interview with News 18, Parineeti revealed, “I have not met my sister for months because she has been in America for the longest time. And whenever she travelled to Bombay, it was for a day or two. I wasn't in Bombay either at that time. So this time when she came, I literally ran to her because I have not met her for months."

When specifically asked about meeting Nick, the actress smartly answered without naming him at all, “It was a great catch up time. It was like a family trip and there were friends with us too. So it was a friends and a family trip actually. It was short and sweet. I was there for like 24 hours and I had a great time. It was a great trip.”

Since the actress didn’t divulge much and only talked about family and friends being on the trip, can we assume Nick is a part of the family now, as he surely can’t be just a friend anymore?
