Rajkummar narrates horror on sets, Dinesh wants sequel: All from Stree trailer launch
'Mard Ko Dard Hoga' - that's how Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer 'Stree' has been promoted ever since its tagline released.
After the scary teaser, the makers have unveiled the trailer of this film, which is more funny than scary. Watch it here:
The film is the next horror-comedy in Bollywood after 'Golmaal Again' experimented with the tag.
Director-producer Dinesh Vijan said, "Stree will genuinely make you laugh and scared. Horror comedy has worked in South. We hope Stree turns into a sequel - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and so on."
Director duo Raj and DK too were present at the launch and spoke about the theme of the film saying, "It's a continuous satire on how mard ko dard hoga when they roam around at night in indecent clothes. It's the only country where it's not safe for men to go out at night."
Shraddha Kapoor, despite being scared of horror, worked in the movie, but how will she watch the film? "I watch horror with eyes closed," she revealed.
Rajkummar Rao then went on to narrate a bone-chilling incident, the horror which they faced on sets. He said, "One day we were shooting and I sensed that somebody was peeping at us and that thing didn't have eyes or a figure."
The film also stars Pankaj Tripathi and Aparshakti Khurrana, who also graced the trailer launch.
Aparshakti there revealed what he gets scared most of. "I should not lose the knack of reality check. I get scared of that thought," he said.
