The outspoken actress Swara Bhasker, who was last seen in Veere Di Wedding and off camera campaigning for Kanhaiya Kumar, has been off the radar these days. And for those wondering as to why the actress isn’t facing the camera, here is an interesting bite for the fans.
The Anarkali From Ara actress is prepping for Krishna Das biopic, a film with which she will be seen pushing the boundaries. Swara has taken up this project too seriously and is under the process of gaining weight. While she is getting many other offers, she won’t be picking up any other script owing to this extremely demanding film. Until she wraps up this project and sheds the extra weight, she can’t even think of taking up any other project.
A source close to the project reveals, “Swara wants to get into the skin of the character, for which she’s had few meetings with Krishna. Swara is also in the process of gaining weight and will bulk up for this project. She will be gaining close to 10 kilos for this project.”
Based on the true story of Krishna Sen aka Sweety Sen, the biopic will revolve around a woman who pretended to be a man and married at least two women.
