Swara Bhasker talks about workplace sexual harassment

Swara Bhasker has never been one to mince her words despite the backlash that they inspire every now and then. Now, the outspoken actress shares her views on sexual harassment at the workplace.

She says, “It is ridiculous that women can't go to the workplace and earn a living without being harassed. We are living in the 21st century, this is ridiculous.”

The actress also believes that women don’t talk about sexual harassment because they think they need solid proof before naming names.

“Often, things happen to us in closed rooms. And it’s likely that we wouldn’t have recorded the conversation or collected fingerprints. That’s not how people usually function,” Sawara says, adding, “If a big director says something offensive to me but I don't have any proof, I can still talk to my friends about it.”
