Honoured to be one of the lead heroes in Karan's film: Vicky Kaushal
Unconventional actor Vicky Kaushal, who bent the rules and emerged as a star with content driven films, is more than happy to collaborate with Karan Johar yet again. After Lust Stories, Vicky will now be seen in Karan's period drama Takht.
If sources are to be believed, the actor will also learn horse riding and sword fighting for this ambitious project.
Vicky says, “It is too early to speak about Takht but I am really excited to be part of this huge film which will be directed by Karan Johar. It’s a huge honour to be one of the lead heroes of his films.”
“Every actor craves to be part of this film. The film has a huge star cast, and I am very excited for the journey to start also because this is my first-period drama,” he adds.
Set in the Mughal era Takht also stars Anil Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles.
The actor, who is busy promoting his film Uri, can't stop gushing about Karan Johar. “He is a wonderful person. He is one of the busiest people on the industry he does 100 things at a time, and still is very approachable. There is so much of positivity in him that it reflects in his work,” he beams.
