Sujoy Ghosh to direct Taapsee Pannu in the remake of The Invisible Guest?

According to our sources, filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh has taken a unique interest in the project and has decided to helm the film.

The Hindi remake of The Invisible Guest has been making news for some time now. While it is reported that the project might be shelved altogether, a little birdie brings with it some fresh news from the makers of the film.

According to our sources, filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh has taken a unique interest in the project and has decided to helm the film.

“Sujoy Ghosh is extremely choosy about his work. And with the thriller genre being his forte, it is no surprise that he has an interest in the project. He will be directing the film, which will go on floors by June. The film will be shot at a hill station,” the source tells us.

Sujoy is known for his films such as Kahaani, Kahaani 2, and the short film Ahalya among others.

Taapsee, who is currently shooting for Manmarziyaan opposite Abhishek Bachchan and Anurag Kashyap, will start shooting with Sujoy from June.

Earlier, John Abraham was supposed to co-produce the film and even act in it. However, as a result of creative differences, the actor decided to step away from the film.
