Mumbai: The trailer of Vidya Balan's 'Begum Jaan' has definitely generated significant amount of buzz for the film.

Vidya, who's had a slew of unsuccessful outings in the last few years, is expected to bounce back this time round in great style if one is to go by the quality of songs and the peak drama being portrayed on-screen.

The second song, 'Aazadiyan' depicts to poignant effect, the widespread turmoil during the partition and the trauma that the affected populace went through.

The Anu Malik composition, appropriately crooned by Sonu Nigam, evokes patriotic emotions in the listener. The performances by the film's glorious ensemble, which includes the likes of Naseeruddin shah, Ila Arun, Rajit Kapoor, Ashish Vidyarthi and Gauahar Khan, only augments the tension and melancholy.

The film is slated to release on April 14.
