Nora Fatehi takes inspiration from Turkish Dancer

Nora Fatehi has currently been in the news for her upcoming dance number with actor John Abraham in the film Satyameva Jayate.

The announcement has gotten everyone keen to see what she has to offer, especially since it is inspired by Sushmita Sen’s famous Dilbar song.

Apart from having big shoes to fill, Nora has also taken major inspiration for her clothes in the video from internationally renowned Turkish belly dancer, Didem.

“The Turkish star is well known for her outfits and Nora wanted her costumes in the song to have some of those styles and cuts. Taking inspiration from the top belly dancer in the world helped as the designers and stylists also understood what colour aesthetics would work and how an outfit can flatter a belly dancer's body,” a source said. In belly dancing, it is crucial to have the right outfit especially those that give the dancer the freedom to glide through the floor.
