Amitabh Bachchan clears the way for Dutt

But when Bachchan heard that his film would clash with Sanjay's film, he decided that it would be better to postpone the release.

Amitabh Bachchan’s football-based film Jhund, where he plays a coach, was slated for release on September 20, along with Sanjay Dutt’s Prashtanam, Vidyut Jamwval’s Commando 3, and Sonam Kapoor’s The Zoya Factor.

But when Bachchan heard that his film would clash with Sanjay’s film, he decided that it would be better to postpone the release. “Sanjay’s father Sunil Dutt had given Amit ji one of his earliest breaks in the movie industry with the film Reshma Aur Shera, and he shares a superb bond with that family. He was having a discussion with the makers, and he said that any later date would be good for him. Though it is not decided yet, but the makers of Jhund decided not to come in with the jhund, and have possibly postponed it to next year,” says a source.

Meanwhile, Commando 3 will also be postponed to a later date.
