The actress plays the role of a PR agent whose details are divulged when her phone gets stolen in the film.
Ask Radhika Apte if her phone were to be stolen, what she would delete first, and pat comes the reply. “Well, I actually deleted everything two months ago when Bombairiya was releasing,” she confesses.
The actress plays the role of a PR agent whose details are divulged when her phone gets stolen in the film. Directed by Piya Sukanya, the film also stars Ravi Kishen, Siddhant Kapoor and Akshay Oberoi and has Radhika crossing to the other side of the table.
“In PR you are investigating people’s lives and digging out information. I have been on the other side with my PR agents, and did a lot of preparation. In the film her character is very shrewd, smart and manipulative and she knows how to get work done. But then there is a situation when some of her personal information is about to come out. How does it feel when it is her job to find information about other people, is what my character is about,” says the actress.
Radhika ventures into comedy for the first time but explains that she is not cast in a comic role. Providing a glimpse, she says, “The film is a comedy. But my character is very serious. The driving force is anxiety for me but the situation is comical and the audience will laugh.”
