Salman Khan to imitate Chiranjeevi's dance move
That Salman Khan is a huge Chiranjeevi fan is a well-known fact. They share a mutual admiration for each other’s work. When Chiranjeevi’s son Ramcharan Teja was shooting for his Hindi debut film (Zanjeer) in Mumbai, home-made food was sent from Salman’s residence every day to Ramcharan’s sets.
Salman has now found a new way to honour Chiranjeevi. In Dabangg 3 which opens in December, Salman would be doing his first ‘item song’ titled Munna badnaam hua — a male version of the popular Munni badaam hui performed in the first Dabangg film by Malaika Arora.
And here’s where Salman will pay a tribute to Chiranjeevi. On Salman’s insistence choreographer-director Prabhudheva has incorporated Chiranjeevi’s celebrated ‘Veena step’ where he glides in the shape of the Indian musical instrument, the Veena.
A source close to the film reveals, “Salman wanted to attempt a different kind of dance move in Munna badnaam... That’s why he came up with Chiranjeevi sir’s famous ‘Veena step.’ Prabhudheva was more than happy to incorporate it.”
