Produced by Maneesh Sharma and directed by Akshay Roy, the film is slated to release on May 12.
Mumbai: Parineeti Chopra has been on a break for far too long. The break saw her getting ridiculously fit, honing her singing skills, and even flaunting her abs alongside Varun Dhawan in an item song in 'Dishoom'.
And now the actress is back to doing what she does best, be the bubbly girl-next-door.
Akshay Roy's 'Meri Pyaari Bindu,' which stars Pari and Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead roles, has dropped its first trailer, and one can't help but be charmed by its succinct, old world charm.
The teaser hints at a very quirky and headstrong female character, who's in a relationship with an aspiring writer.
Narrated from Ayushmann's point-of-view, one might be reminded of every film that's had a heartbroken protagonist trying his best to move on with their life.
However, one can't help but be reminded of David Fincher's delectably terrifying 'Gone Girl,' adapted from Gillian Flynn's novel of the same name.
For now, Akshay Roy may rest assured that his teaser is very much intriguing and hints at a very exciting film in the offing.
Produced by Maneesh Sharma, the film is slated to release on May 12.
