One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson was arrested on Friday night at Los Angeles airport, after he attacked a photographer who got too close for comfort.
TMZ.com reports that Louis and his girlfriend Eleanor Calder were at baggage claim at the airport, when a paparazzi photographer got too close. Louis then reportedly tackled him, with the photographer hitting his head hard on the ground. Meanwhile, a couple of other women had begun harassing Eleanor, with another altercation ensuing.
The singer was then arrested by police for simple battery, but was granted bail. A spokesperson told TMZ.com, defending Louis’s actions, saying “The paparazzi provoked and caused the altercation that occurred with Louis. While the altercation was going on with the paparazzi, three other individuals were attacking his girlfriend during this incident and he came to her defense.”
