Madonna stops auction of Tupac's letter
A judge in New York City has ordered the auction site to take down the items, and it seems like Madonna has got her way.
Madonna is not going to let her extremely revealing jailhouse letter from former beau Tupac get sold in an auction because she says it was stolen from her home.
The singer filed an emergency court order on Tuesday to block the website from selling the letter and some of her other personal memorabilia — including personally worn panties!
In the documents that were obtained by TMZ.com, Madonna states that she was blindsided by the auction, and that she never knew that some of these items were no longer with her. The singer believes that a former friend and art consultant, Darlene Lutz, betrayed her by taking the items.
