The middle of the token features an X, the Roman numeral for 10, surrounded by the words Unity, Service and Recovery.

Legendary rapper Eminem, real name Marshall Mathers, celebrated an important event in his life — he’s been sober for a decade. He shared a photo of a medallion he received for achieving the milestone. “Celebrated my 10 years yesterday,” he captioned it.

The middle of the token features an “X,” the Roman numeral for 10, surrounded by the words “Unity,” “Service” and “Recovery.”

According to People.com, he previously revealed he had a near-death experience from an accidental overdose back in 2007. “I used to get pills wherever I could. I was just taking anything that anybody was giving to me,” he had told New York Times.

Fans congratulated the rapper on Instagram. A fan wrote, “So proud and happy for you Eminem. Much love, peace and respect to you. You truly do inspire me.” Another fan added, “Respect.”
