Ryan Reynolds had saved nephew’s life

Ryan Reynolds is one responsible citizen! The actor took to Instagram to spread awareness and lead by example, as he shared a picture of himself after he took a CPR course. He also revealed that because of this knowledge, he was even able to save his nephew’s life!

People.com reports that the Deadpool actor captioned the picture, “Years ago, I took a CPR course thru the Red Cross and holy s***, I ended up saving my nephew’s life because I knew what to do! True story! Yesterday I took a refresher course — focusing on infant and toddler CPR,” he continued. “It takes only a few hours and it’s also kinda, sorta fun. Thank you to Dan from Viva First Aid for the lesson. And thank you to these two helpful yet lifeless dolls whose vacant ocular cavities will haunt me until end times. (sic)”

Blake Lively, Ryan’s wife who is a mother of two, also shared a similar post and urged parents to take up a CPR course, especially if they have small children.
