Rockstar Gregg Allman dies at 68

The musician lost the battle to liver cancer, with which he was diagnosed five years ago.

Singer and songwriter Gregg Allman who is known for leading The Allman Brothers Band for around 45 years passed away on Saturday due to liver cancer. Allman’s manager told TMZ.com that the musician has been dealing with several complications and health issues ever since he was diagnosed with the ailment five years ago.

The Rock n Blues pioneer has finished recording his last record, which will be released in September. He was known for his long blond hair, and was quite a heartthrob back in the day. Greg’s ex wife, Cher, has mourned his death in a sweet Twitter post. She wrote, “IVE TRIED… WORDS ARE IMPOSSIBLE GUI GUI. FOREVER, CHOOCH.” She later shared a photo of them together.
