JustJared.com reports that the 27-year-old singer now holds the record for most views of a lyric video during its first 24 hours. The new song got up to 19 million views, breaking a record held by Coldplay and The Chainsmokers’Something Just Like This, which had nine million views.
The song has also been sold 2,00,000 times in its first 24 hours and experts expect it to top 5,50,000 in sales for the first week, according to Variety. With this, Taylor could even beat Adele’s record for Hello, which had 6,53,000 downloads in its second week.
