Amber Heard paid $350,000 to domestic violence unit
After Amber Heard was supposed to receive $7 million in her divorce settlement with Johnny Depp, the actress said that she would donate the money to two organisations — Children’s Hospital and the ACLU domestic violence unit.
According to a report in TMZ.com, the actress had made the payment within three days after receiving the settlement. Even though Depp said that he would pay the hospital directly, he did so in installments. But TMZ.com reports that after the initial amount, the organisations didn’t receive any more money.
Now, the website reports that they received an email from ACLU where they acknowledged that Heard had made a payment of $350,000 on August 19. A source close to Heard told the website that she had taken steps to pay the Children’s hospital immediately, but didn’t send it because she and Johnny began fighting about the settlement money.
