After doing glamorous roles in her earlier Telugu films, Gurleen will next be seen as a criminal lawyer in an as-yet untitled film, a mystery thriller, to be directed by Mohankanth.
Talking about her role, Gurleen says, “When the director narrated the story, I was glad it was a strong role. It’s a different kind of a film where there’s a lot of drama, suspense and gripping moments.”
Gurleen reveals that she watched a few videos of court scenes and also spoke to lawyers to get the body language right. “My character, Sita, actually has two shades; in my profession I play a strong lawyer, but at home I have another identity that’ll be revealed during the climax of the film. My role in this film will surely take the audience by surprise,” she reveals.
