Memorable musical tribute
Phoenix MarketCity witnessed a rock band performance paying tribute to Freddie Mercury and the band on Saturday. Listeners were taken on a nostalgic musical trip with the performance of ‘Merlin and the all stars’ themed on a walk down memory lane with Freddie Mercury with the classics of the 1980’s.
Hundreds of ardent fans came together to celebrate the legendary star, Freddie Mercury. The audience comprised of energetic music lovers of all age groups who attended the concert to relive and experience the Bohemian Rhapsody live. Freddie Mercury had delivered the performance of his lifetime and these artistes brought back the star alive with their infectious foot-tapping energy.
The concert featured some of the best vocalists of the country and had powerful performances from top tier singers, like Bowie and Annie Lennox’s rendition of ‘Under Pressure’. The second performance of the night witnessed the well-known song ‘Fat Bottomed Girl’s. People around the mall could hear people humming to the tunes. The host beautifully created a mood for each song by illustrating a scene.
A vast array of songs had set the mood for the night and left the audience enthralled. The melody, ‘Show Must Go On’ was the most applauded. The performance left the crowd with massive goose bumps as members of troupe performed the Queen’s anthem hit ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’. The fervent fans enjoyed the performance by jumping in excitement to express their eagerness to witness the performance.
After a high-energy gig, the troupe concluded the performance with their famous and most awaited number, ‘We are the Champions’, upon a request from the audience. Every song was thoughtfully constructed and impeccably performed.
