A UK-born and raised in Australia, RaOol is a rapper who has previously lent his voice for Housefull 3, the theme song of Star Plus’s flagship dance reality show Dance Plus and DJ Bravo’s rap in Tum Bin 2. His new single Desi Girls Do It Better #DGDIB, features Jaz Dhami. In a chat, RaOol tells us about her musical favourites:

How would you describe your taste in music?
I don’t have a specific genre that I like. I listen to everything under the sun — from hip-hop to Indian classical music — I listen, ans like, all things in between. The more you listen, the more you learn.

Your favourite time/way to listen to music during the day:
I’m always on the go, travelling from one part of the world to the other. So, I like listening to songs on my phone 24/7 with a good pair of headphones.

Is there any music you used to love as a kid or a teenager that you’re now embarrassed by?
I used to love the boy bands like East 17, New Kid on the Block and my favourite ever was Ice Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice.

One band/musician you want a private concert from:
Definitely Coldplay.

One live act you would love to see at least once in your life:
Linkin Park
