However serious A.R. Rahman might come across in real life, when it comes to music, he can get pretty daring. News is just out that A.R. Rahman has roped in rapper Raftaar for Anil Kapoor’s Saath.
It was Dangal’s hit number, Dhakad, that worked for Raftaar. Rehman was scouting for a singer who could rap in Haryanwi style. Once he heard the Dangal song, Rehman knew it had to be Raftaar, for the song he was looking for. In fact, Rahman was so impressed with Raftaar’s style of rapping that that he actually flew to LA, just to record the song with him.
