Snowdrop antagonists are a real life couple

Ukrainian television actors Valentin Tomusyak and Catherine Tyszkiewicz, better known as Igor and Irina from Snowdrop, are married in real life.

Though Valentin and Catherine’s characters don’t share a good rapport on-screen,  the actors are madly in love with each other. The couple met during the shoots and were instantly drawn towards each other. Catherine says, “What started as innocent flirting soon turned into something more. During our first month together, we hid our relationship from everyone. Later, the whole cast and crew came to know about us.”

Talking about his meeting his wife, Valentin says, “At one of our show’s parties, everyone was talking about Catherine. We were made to sit next to each other at the dinner table. And since then we became close to each other. We also used to ask the director to give us more lovemaking scenes. In fact, we had our first kiss because of a scene in the show.”
