Niti Taylor wants to put the past behind her
Niti Taylor’s showdown with her Kaisi Yeh Yariyaan co-star, Parth Samthaan, hit headlines when the leaked footage of their ugly spat went viral online. The actors, who never saw eye to eye when working together, haven’t spoken to each other ever since. Even the memory of the incident evokes a strong reaction from the young actress, who insists that deep down, the showdown was disgusting.
Taking a dig at Parth, Niti says, “He is someone who doesn’t matter to me at all. I would never make peace with him; I have been through a lot because of him. What has happened has happened. I really don’t want to get into the matter now, since it’s pretty complicated, and things were blown out of proportion. I think what happens behind closed doors should remain there itself. So, today, if you ask me, I really don’t know who Parth Samthaan is.”
The young actress has put the past behind and is looking forward to playing a challenging role in a new show Ghulam. Opening up on her character, Niti says, “Shivani is a strong girl. When I read the story, I knew it was going to be challenging to play the role, so I went for it. I get very exhausted by the end of the day as the role drains me emotionally. Even when I go home it’s difficult for me to switch off from the character. I just hope the show and the character work out best for me.”
The actress’ pictures with her best friend Anubhav Bansal also sparked rumours of a romance recently. “I am not in love with anyone; Anubhav is just a dear friend. I have a habit of clicking lovey-dovey pictures with my close friends and happen to upload some with Anubhav on Instagram. Since he is the only male friend I have, people linked me up with him,” signs off the actress.
