I will set fire to the Bigg Boss set, says Om Swami
It’s difficult to say what is more bizarre — Om Swami’s antics or his off screen allegations. We got in touch with the man to know what mayhem he will unleash on the Grand Finale of Bigg Boss if he isn’t taken back in the show. The more he opened his mouth, the more shaken we were. Here’s Om Swami unplugged.
You have been told off multiple times for your conduct on the show. Yet you seem so unhinged...
I was thrown out because I hit Salman Khan, who is an ISI agent. I have all the necessary evidence to prove that. Not only him, Big Boss is a CIA agent. Congress chief Sonia Gandhi gave billions of dollars to have me thrown out of the show. I knew that I’d be thrown off the show without any reason. Bigg Boss is not an Indian show — it aims to destroy the country and its pure culture.
You have threatened to sabotage the Grand Finale of the show. What mayhem do you plan to unleash?
On January 27, I will hold a huge rally at Shivaji Park against Big Boss and Salman Khan, where one lakh people will join me and I will expose the show. Then on the day of the finale, I will go to Lonavla along with these one lakh followers. They will all be armed with revolvers and we will break the gates to enter the set. I promise to break Salman Khan’s bones and then put fire to the whole set. I will make sure the show is permanently shut, so there will be no Bangla, Marathi or Hindi Bigg Boss. In fact, I’m willing to fight a case against the show in the Supreme Court as well.
You urinated in the kitchen. If that wasn’t enough, you flung the urine on fellow contestants too. The audience was repulsed and they’re wondering what got into you.
It wasn’t urine, it was water. Bani is like my daughter and I would never do something like that to her. It’s impossible for someone to release one and a half litre of urine in just three seconds. I accept that I urinated in the kitchen jug at the behest of Big Boss because my life was in danger. They threatened my life. But, I wanted to come back alive so I followed their orders. I would like to ask, if they had issues with my urine, why didn’t Salman and Big Boss object when I said that I will pee on Rohan? They should have stopped me then and there, right?
Your antics have brought bad name to godmen, wouldn’t you say? Was all this worth two minutes of fame?
I haven’t destroyed the image of sadhus. What I did was Om ki Leela. Abhi toh leela ki shuruaat hai, aage aage dekho hota hai kya (This is the beginning, you’ll see what is in store next). I will turn India into a Hindu Rashtra and make deshdrohis (traitors) like Salman Khan run to Pakistan.
Godmen like you generally strive to be people’s hero, but your antics have earned you infamy as a villain...
It doesn’t make any difference to me whether I am tagged a villain. If I really were one, then people would not have been praising me. I met so many of them and they all said that they have stopped watching the show because I am no more part of it.
