Later in the night, Bollywood starlet Athiya Shetty walked the ramp for designer Namrata Joshipura. During an interaction post the show, she spoke about her first long stay in the capital and what she liked about the city. “It is always great to visit Delhi. But this is the first time I got the opportunity to stay for so long in the capital,” shared the actress who made her debut with Hero last year. The brand ambassador for Maybelline New York in India also took some time off in between her fittings to visit some of the capital’s popular spots. She said, “I visited India Gate and Qutub Minar for the first time and also checked out a few more historic monuments. It was amazing and thrilling at the same time. It’s such a beautiful city and I like the fact that it’s greener and has wider roads compared to other cities in the country.” She also shared that she tried out a whole lot of local food and went on a shopping spree at Dilli Haat.
“Delhi is known for its amazing array of food. I tried some delicious street treats during my stay. I also loved the local market and did a lot of shopping as well,” Athiya laughed.
