The visitors launched a quick counter and almost equalised but the ball went just wide. Aizawl captain David Lalrinmuana came later close with a deadly left footed half volley which sailed over in the 10th minute.
Aizawl who enjoyed a good support here, kept maintaining pressure and were rewarded in the 18th minute when Albert found the ball in free space lurking in the penalty area and unleashed a rasping right footer that gave Ghosh no chance.
Albert had an easy chance to complete his brace in the 52nd minute but couldn’t beat the diving Ghosh even from close range after doing well to sneak in.
Brown converted a free-kick in the 57th minute. Aizawl went on the offensive again and Mumbai’s defence succumbed to gift them an equaliser as Albert’s corner was sliced by Nabi into the goal.
