Raj Baddhan returns on-air with ‘Drivetime’ on Lyca Radio

Baddhan had left the Leicester based station in December to join Lyca Radio’s parent company, Lyca Media

UK based radio presenter, Raj Baddhan, will be returning to his iconic ‘Drivetime’ slot, this time on Lyca Radio. After leaving Leicester based radio station Sabras, Raj joined Lyca Media as a CEO.

Award-winning radio presenter Raj Baddhan, left the Leicester based station in December, to join Lyca Radio’s parent company, Lyca Media as its empowering CEO. Since his departure from Sabras Radio, Baddhan has been missing from the airwaves but now has finally announced his comeback via ‘Drivetime’.
Baddhan will front Lyca Radio’s new weekday ‘Drivetime’ show, starting in May.

As well as regular news, travel and business updates, the show will also include TV star interviews, which he has become synonymous with. Interviews with the biggest television TV personalities from India and Pakistan.

Talking about his return, Baddhan said, “I am excited about returning to the airwaves with my new ‘Drivetime’ show on Lyca Radio. A platform this big, gives us direct access to stars that come into the country. The new ‘Drivetime’ show launches in May, and I ensure that it would be witnessed with the same energy and fun that I have been known for.”

The start date of the radio show is to be announced soon. The launch coincides with Lyca Radio’s new programming revamp, which Baddhan has been working on since he joined in January 2021. Lyca Radio is available on 1458AM and DAB in London, as well as LycaRadio.com and various mobile apps. An official Lyca Radio mobile app launches this summer.
