Musician Tizane Illustrates Mental Wellness Through her Songs

Isabelle Tizane Sara Miller, also known as Tizane, has been relentless in spreading mental health awareness and wellness as she looks after herself and promotes inclusivity. Born on 3 July 2001 in London, UK, Tizane has been at work to produce songs that reverberate with her fans. Tizane has talked about her mental health and believes that mental comfort is key to have happiness and success in life. When a person begins working to improve their surroundings, they tend to pursue brilliance and cultivate and develop a change in society and the world at large. With consistency, Tizane has finished one year of a music performance course and went to North Kent College to explore her interests.

As Tizane was growing up, she started to self-produce songs, her first milestone as a singer and songwriter. With time, Tizame became a talented and skilled artist who could produce deep and soulful songs. When she was little, Tizane had acute anxiety, and it was tough for her to go through life like a normal person. Tizane wanted to stay alone at home as her anxiety stopped her from doing everyday things like going out. By finding comfort around her, Tizane soon recognized that writing and singing songs helped her feel calm. Tizane felt that everything was fitting well together and saw herself finding peace around her. By listening to Rap, Indie, and Alt-Pop, Tizane realized that those were the genres she wanted to pursue. Tizane’s talent was noted by George Kimpton, the former boss of Rough Trade in 2019, and soon led to a management deal.
Tizane has a recording label, Jiggery Pokery Records, that released her first album, Cherry, in February 2021. The songs in the album Cherry are Alt-pop and ensure that various human emotions are talked about so that there is little chance of being sucked into feeling pitiful. With acute anxiety halting her life, music permitted her to let go of all her shyness. There are facets of a person’s life that may seem unavoidable, such as the COVID-19 pandemic. During the hard-hitting period of the pandemic, Tizane has been working relentlessly to be creative and not let external factors affect her. By releasing Cherry, Tizane explored her talent and was resolute to support others and make them understand feeling negative can be just temporary. An individual may face difficulties and feel that there is no way out, yet it is crucial that they strive with all their strength to discover courage in all they aim for. Streamed 4 million times on Spotify, Cherry has been critically well-received with excellent reviews, leading to Tizane being presented with the title ‘The Enfant Terrible’ of Alt-pop by Clash Magazine.
Tizane believes in the importance of mental health and has spent her time discovering how feeling worried can be avoided. By spending hours and hours on her talent and capabilities, Tizane has shown everyone that there can be drawbacks, yet it is vital to be motivated and persistent in life. The most precious memory for Tizane is being together with her mother as they sang together, which led Tizane to feel enlightened and unrestricted. Even when there were moments when Tizane felt that she could not be herself, she did not let that take a toll on her. Tizane felt encouraged when she saw that her desire to be different and unique was paying off. The songs of Cherry have been in progress since Tizane was little and since the beginning pursuing her to be strong and unstoppable.
