Tuliram Ronghang serves as the Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC), an autonomous region in Assam governed under the Sixth Schedule to the Constitution of India, serving since 2013. With so many years of being in the political world and working for Karbi Anglong, Tuliram Ronghang has never left a stone unturned to take the region to a path of better growth, development and success.
Since the time he has been elected as the KAAC CEM, he never looked back and dedicated all his energy, time and efforts to its development. He went forward in doing so much for Karbi Anglong that he made Diphu, the capital of Karbi Anglong, the fastest growing and the cleanest city of Assam in the year 2020. Today, the entire region offers their heartiest congratulations to the Diphu Town Municipal Board on achieving the cleanest Town award.
Tuliram Ronghang's efforts and hard work were also proven when the Government of India, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs declared the Diphu town as one of the cleanest towns in Assam in 2020. Diphu is the headquarter of Karbi Anglong, and due to the enormous and incredible labour and efforts of Tuliram Ronghang, it has become one of the fastest-growing cities of Assam.
Today, Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) has transformed Diphu into a beautiful hill station, which is also known for its unique and beautiful #KarbiTraditional designs.
