Actress Payal Rajput: COVID-19 has turned the entire nation upside down

Payal is spending the lockdown period at home learning Telugu language skills

Covid-19 is an enemy that can’t be sensed, heard, seen, touched or tasted. It's small but highly dangerous and has taken hundreds of thousands of lives so far .

:This is indeed a tough time for India and for many other countries. So instead of giving in to panic and becoming restless, let’s come together and join our hands in saving our nation," says actress Payal Rajput, who is currently doing Telugu movies.

The Delhi-born actress says she is taking care of three families as part of her duty and requesting all to help the needy in this difficult time.

"I have a massive amount of respect for the police, doctors and nurses who are all are tirelessly working for us despite the danger to themselves.

Payal is spending the lockdown period at home exploring her hobbies and brushing up her Telugu language skills.

Further she added she is also feeling restless and anxious at home but "we have no option but to respect the lockdown".

The glamour of tinsel town has such grandeur that every person would have wants to experience it. Some merely dream about it, and some actually go out there to make the dream come true.

For Payal Rajput, it was a dream. Born on 5 December 1992 in a middle class family staying in the Dilshad Garden area of Delhi, it all started when she was pursuing her degree in mass communication. She took a leap of faith and shifted her base to Mumbai in 2011 with merely Rs 1 lakh in her account, and no go-to person in a city full of dreamy-eyed people.

The journey hasn’t been easy, but Payal being the fighter she is, knew how to leave her mark. She gave numerous auditions and bagged her first lead role in a TV serial names Sapno Se Bhare Naina which aired on Sahara One. Since then there has been no stopping for her. After doing many successful TV serials, Payal has created her name on the big screen in the world of Punjabi and Telugu cinema.
