Classplus Onboards Former Cricketer Sourav Ganguly As Brand Ambassador

The marketing campaign is set in motion starting with an advertisement which even features Sourav Ganguly

Kolkata: Classplus, from Noida, the Indian prime stage for instructors and ensuring training centres to finally go online, has uncovered that past Indian cricket skipper, Sourav Ganguly as its national celebrity endorser and their brand ambassador. Irrespective of his part as brand ambassador, Sourav has equivalently planted resources into Classplus based on his own ability.

To kick off this collaboration, Classplus has set in motion a cross-stage movement, the main focus of which is an advertisement with Dada. Called as, 'Mrs. Banerjee', this ad that went live yesterday, is a great way to pay tribute to all the teachers we knew growing up, whose guidance shaped us into the responsible citizens we are today. The pandemic put their occupations and sources of income on a dangerous halt; this ad makes us realize why it’s time to rethink what we truly owe them and the ways to give back to the important people of our childhood. The ad also highlights Classplus’s model of remote learning and its benefits, along with its potential to curate a brand-new future for every teacher who wishes to kick start their digital teaching journey.

“We’re thrilled to introduce cricketing legend Sourav Ganguly as the official brand ambassador for Classplus. During his time as captain of India’s cricket team, Sourav proved himself to epitomise everything Classplus stands for – empathy, integrity, taking unexplored paths and building for the future. He’s carried these traits with him ever since, and we couldn’t be happier to have him on board,” said the Classplus’s Co-Founder, Mukul Rustagi, when speaking about the launch of their mission. “This ad reminds us of the role tutors and coaches have played in our lives. With Sourav’s association, we look forward to facilitating the shift towards online coaching, and empowering educators to mould many more leaders of tomorrow.”

The creative agency who conceptualised this beautiful ad is Option Design, and ‘Mrs. Banerjee’ is produced by Opus Communication under the celebrated film producer Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury. An acclaimed industry veteran of both Bengali and Hindi movies, Aniruddha is very famous as the director of 'Pink', a spine thriller from 2016; that acquired critical as well as commercial acclaim and even went on to bag the National Film Award for Best Film on Other Social Issues.

Regarding this prestigious collaboration, Sourav Ganguly quoted, “I am excited to launch this campaign alongside Classplus. During my time as a leader, one of the most important lessons I learned was the importance of backing my own team. Supporting players when they need it the most is critical to their future success. Classplus recognises that India’s tutors are vital to the nation’s academic success. As a category leader itself, it is applying these same lessons and providing educators with the support they need to transfer to a digital model. That’s what this ad showcases, and I can’t think of a better message to send out.”

Classplus connects all teachers and coaching institutes via a mobile application, assisting them to establish their online identification, sending out study materials, conducting live sessions, and expanding their pupil base. Apart from teaching, tutors can even sell their study materials or notes and set up an own way of getting extra income.

It’s a known fact the pandemic has forced many offline businesses to come to a screeching halt; teachers especially require a platform which is well integrated, over using several platforms to manage live sessions, sharing study materials and communication. Classplus is designed keeping all these requirements in mind. With a strong digital identity for themselves, Classplus aims to help over 50,000 teachers and eventually became the preferred application by every tutor in our nation.
