Faridabad: 7 cow smugglers held, 50 kg 'beef' recovered

Faridabad: Seven suspected cow smugglers have been arrested from here and 50 kg "beef" was seized from them, police said on Wednesday.

According to a police spokesperson a cow was also recovered from them which, he said, the suspected smugglers were taking to a slaughter house.

Dhauj Chowki ASI Pradeep Kumar got a tip-off about the alleged smuggling of cow Tuesday night.

The police put in a nakabandi and during checking of the vehicle, 50 kg "beef" and a cow were found, the spokesperson said.

He said the accused were taking the cow to Sirohi in this district.
