Chandigarh: The Leader of Opposition in Punjab Vidhan Sabha, Sukhpal Singh Khaira, on Tuesday criticised the Punjab government for its claims about breaking drug trade chain in the state. Mr Khaira referred to the statement of Congress MLA Surjit Singh Dhiman during a function at Sunam, in which he had said that the drug is very much available in every street of Punjab, and that the supply is flowing hassle-free.

Mr Khaira said that Mr Dhiman said it on record that the supply of drugs was interrupted for not more than 15 days after the formation of the Congress government, that too partial.
