A few days earlier, Modi had gifted his Shiva stole to a woman who had tweeted about it. Now, Twitter has new requests for him to fulfil.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi sure knows how to rule social media. Earlier this week, on the occasion of Maha Shivratri, Modi was snapped wearing an exquisite stole with Shiva’s face printed on it, while inaugurating the Adi Yogi statue at Isha Foundation in Coimbatore.

Fascinated by the same, writer and former Smriti Irani aide Shilpi Tewari had tweeted about Modi’s stole saying she wanted it. But she never expected that she would receive it, complete with the autograph of the prime minister himself.

Spurred by the act, Twitterati have taken it upon themselves to convey their desires to the Prime Minister who has set a high benchmark with his gesture.

It was a riot that ensued with wishes ranging from bikes, rifles, hats, to personalities like Sonam Kapoor, Salman Khan, and ex-prime minister Manmohan Singh.
